Pottery Care Guide
Hand-washing is Recommended:
Use warm water, mild dish soap, and a soft sponge or brush. Avoid using harsh detergents or abrasive scrubbers since they can leave scratches. Rinse your ceramics thoroughly and allow them to dry completely.
Uniquely imperfect:
Due to the nature of the mugs being made by hand some may have small cosmetic flaws, but they are still food safe and can be used the same as any other mug.
Is the glaze/finish on the pottery food safe?
Yes, all of the glazes used are non-toxic and food safe.
Can I put the pottery in the dishwasher?
Yes, you can put our pottery in the dishwasher. However over time the abrasive detergent and heating/cooling cycles will degrade the glaze and possibly cause chips or cracks. Handwashing is recommended to extend the life of a piece of pottery.
Is the pottery safe to put in the microwave?
Yes, you can put our pottery in the microwave. Please be careful when removing from the microwave as it may be hot.
